Very little is known about Mary McGuire other than she registered the birth of her brother Hugh in 1864. It is also thought by the family that at some sometime later after this event (year unknown), she emigrated to the USA. The city of Baltimore has been suggested as her destination place although there is no evidence other than people's memories to support this. Research undertaken by the Waterford Genealogy center in Waterford City has been unable too trace her date of birth or that of one of her brothers, Jeremiah.
