It should be noted that the variations in the spelling of the mother's maiden name is due to the person that made the entry. Thomas McGuire was killed when his ship was torpedoed in the Atlantic by a German u-boat during WW2 and he can be found on the "Roll of Honour" page. Jimmy McGuire the son of James above, still lives in Spring Garden Alley in the house next to where his grandparents lived.
